Frustrated Photographer ๐Ÿ“ท

There’s no better way to imagine a thing you’ve never seen before or a place you’ve never been to than having to see a photo along with it’s caption.

Professional or not, for me, photography is creativity, self expression and satisfaction at its best. A way of seeing how somebody else sees the things around us.

In this post, I wish to share the shots I captured since I opened my pretty big eyes to how lovely my province, Cebu, and it’s neighboring islands is.

Please note that all these photos were taken using my Android phone camera. Some shots may be pixelated and/or cropped a little, but I assure you, 99.9% of them are what they are as they were captured. And they are all mine.

1. The beach

At Kota Beach a.k.a. Camp Sawi (Bantayan Island, Cebu – June 2012)
At Hermit’s Cove (Aloguinsan, Cebu – Oct 2015)
At Bakhaw Beach (Camotes Island, Cebu – April 2016)

2. Sunrise and Sunset

Sunrise at Oslob, Cebu (June 2015)

Sunrise on my way to Camotes Island (April 2016)
At Marigondon, Lapu Lapu City, Cebu (May 2016)
Sunset at Camotes Island, northern part (July 2016)

3. Outrigger Canoe

At Sumilon Island Beach (Sumilon Island, Cebu – June 2015)

At Bojo River (Aloguinsan, Cebu – October 2015)
At Basdaku Beach (Moalboal, Cebu – May 2016)
At Panagsama Beach (Moalboal, Cebu – December 2016)

4. Palm Trees

At Bantayan Island, Cebu (June 2012)

At Samboan, Cebu (June 2015)

At Camotes Island, Cebu (April 2016)

5. Others

An unpaved road

The dolphins
A boardwalk on a river
A tiny window at Riverstone Castle built in 1475
The campfire
The stone path (and my ugly feet ๐Ÿ˜‚)

We have a big world out there to explore…

And a lot of moments to experience…

  1. The picture of the window looks like something out of a fairy tale ! It would be pretty cool if you arranged the photos in chronological order , it would look like a a time lapse almost ! Loved the pictures , doesn’t look it’s taken from a phone camera ! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Now that you mentioned it, yeah it does look like from a fairy tale. The whole stone castle, in fact. It’s almost unbelievable that it still exist after so many centuries passed.

Thanks for the suggestion! That’s actually a good one. I’ll consider rearranging them accordingly to the time they were taken on each subject. Thanks again! ๐Ÿ˜Š
