Harry Potter: “What is it?“
Albus Dumbledore: “This? It is called a Pensieve. I sometimes find, and I am sure you know the feeling, that I simply have too many thoughts and memories crammed into my mind.”
— Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter discussing Dumbledore’s Pensieve
Even the greatest wizard of all time, Albus Dumbledore, was bombarded with all his thoughts and memories and just couldn’t afford to keep them all in his head. The PENSIEVE was his magical tool to empty his head of these thoughts for safekeeping and allowed him to revisit these memories or review particular memories later as he wished.
Although I’m far from being a wizard let alone being Dumbledore, I, myself, have numerous thoughts and memories I couldn’t risk forgetting but couldn’t afford keeping for a long time as well (as my brain tends to overthink and most of the time, overload). Nyahaha!!!
Therefore, Queencloak’s Pensieve serves as my personal tool to help me keep those certain moments and time I wish to relive when my own memory fails me. This includes my personal interests and experiences from various aspects of my life. Aside from writing, I also use photographs as my medium to fully express my thoughts and memories.
